Session 3 Lesson Sign-Ups
Hey Seminole members! This coming Thursday, July 28 from 7:00-8:00 pm are the swimming lesson sign-up. We will be grouping people by last name again instead of giving out tickets. The second session sign-up times will be as follows:
R-Z: 7:00-7:20
A-H: 7:20-7:40
I-Q: 7:40-8:00
This should also help you know what time you need to be there instead of standing in line forever. We will not allow people to sign-up anyone other than their own children, and you must sign-up during your time slot. After 8:00pm we can take anyone who did not make it during their time, or who would like to sign-up for someone else.
If you cannot make lesson sign-ups on Thursday feel free to stop by the guard office anytime Friday and a manager would be happy to help you get signed up.

Seminole wins All-City food drive this week
Seminole Pool & Tennis came in first place for the week in raising money for Second Harvest food bank as part of the All-City Swim and Dive League. The Sharks have won the overall food drive the last two years and are trying hard for a “three-peat.”
While swim and dive families lead the charge, the whole pool membership can join in the cause. Second Harvest is a critical service in our community, especially in tough economic times.
Look for the donation jars at the front desk and concessions if you would like to pitch in. You also can donate online, just be sure to select Seminole as the contributing pool. Donations are tax-deductible.
The league will give weekly awards to pools with the greatest donations per swimmer and cap it off with an award for the overall winner at the All-City meet the last week of July.
Help your neighbors in need and help your Seminole Sharks show how strong we are — in the water and out!

Tennis: Rain day make up sessions
After careful consideration and some recent input we received from members regarding rain day make up sessions for tennis we have the following update. In an effort to allow everyone to participate in rain day make up sessions we will be conducting a full Jr class schedule on August 22, 23, & 24. This will include the junior classes only starting with Pee Wee and ending with class at 5pm. Make up sessions will no longer be conducted on Friday. Social Updates for the Week 6/22-6/26
WEDNESDAY JUNE 22 (TODAY) 13+ Social Night CANCELLED… Look for this the first week in Aug. We will have usual OPEN SWIM following lessons from 6:30 t0 9:00
SATURDAY JUNE 25 ADULT NIGHT 7:00PM to 9:00PM… BYOB… bring a drink you enjoy and we will supply the snacks and fun. A great evening to gather with pool friends 
SUNDAY JUNE 26 FAMILY FUN DAY! 1:00PM to 5:00PM… all the usual food and fun. We will have burgers and hot dogs, chips and watermelon! Penny dive, Splash contest, waterballoon toss and tube relays! The more the merrier : )

Stroke Clinics STARTS Next Week (June 13-17)
Swim team stroke clinics will start next week. Stroke clinics are not a substitute for regular practices, but are great ways of getting tips on stroke improvement and starts & turns. We have three (3) stroke clinic times broken into the following categories:
MONDAYS
6:30-7:00pm Stroke Clinic for 8&UNDERs (No Junior Sharks please)
7:00-7:30pm Stroke Clinic for 9-10s
TUESDAYS
6:30-7:30pm Stroke Clinic for 11&UPs
THURSDAYS
6:30-7:00pm Starts & Turns for 9-10s
7:00-7:30pm Starts & Turns for 11&UPs
