Junior Coaching
Call for Volunteer Junior Coaches: Once again Seminole is looking for volunteer Junior Coaches. You will work with our lead coaches to help out with our younger age-group swimmers. Junior coaches must have completed at least your freshman year in high school, must be willing to commit to at least 2 times during the week, and obviously, must love swimming and working with kids. Talk to Todd Jekel (swimdive@seminolepool.org) if you are interested in being a Junior Coach or have questions.
Coach Biographies
Dan Lynam is the 13&up coach again this summer. He is currently a Physical Education student and on the swim team at UW – Stevens Point, and plans to graduate in fall of 2012. He’s excited to be back atSeminole to coach where he started swimming at age 6. Dan has lots of great memories from All-City and is looking forward to a fun, competitive season and a fast All-City.

Katelyn Baltes. She was a Seminole Shark for 12 years, swimming last summer as a senior. She currently swims at the University of Iowa where she plans to major in the Health Science field. Katelyn is expecting another fun summer at Seminole.

Caitlyn Hiveley is back with the 9-10 age-group! She looks forward to helping the 9-10s learn the ins-and-outs of flips turns & swimming 50s. She swam for a total of 10 years, 5 of which were at Seminole. Currently a student at UW-Madison majoring in Elementary Education. Has been coaching swimming for many years and is excited to come back!

Carleigh Olson is excited to be working again with the 8&under age group this summer. Is currently a sophomore at University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and is considering majoring in Community Health Education and minoring in Spanish and Nutrition! Started at Seminole as an 8&under and now is coaching that age group! Looking forward to the best summer yet!

Dani Basche Seminole and summer have been synonymous for Dani for eleven years. This will be Dani’s third year coaching with Seminole. Dani is attending Luther College in Decorah, Iowa this fall, and is looking forward to another summer with the Sharks!
